Philosophy

Pacific Living Centers strives to assure the care, health, and safety needs of the residents are being met in a manner that maximizes independence in an environment that supports dignity, individually and choice. Staff is committed to achieving a quality of care that encompasses meeting the physical, mental, psychosocial, spiritual and emotional needs of our residents.

Our facility is designed to meet the unique needs of individuals with Alzheimer's or related dementias. Our home for 15 residents provides a family environment where residents can enjoy themselves in an intimate dementia friendly setting. Common living, social and dining areas are open for easy access so residents can socialize throughout the day. A covered patio and continuous walkway in the outdoor secured are, provides the opportunity for residents to be safe in the outdoors, while reading, relaxing or visiting.

Our employment of personnel is based on qualification and not race, creed, sex, age, disability, national origin or sexual orientation. Our personnel must be of character and pass a criminal records check. We test for drug use at hire and when reasonable cause arises.

Orientation, dementia specific training and continuous education are important to the development of our staff. Our educational programs are open to residents and family.
